The Belgian player can play both in midfield or as a central defender and has attracted a lot of interest from clubs in Europe previously.

Manchester United have kept close tabs on the player after he impressed in the Champions League.

Dendoncker started the game against Genk as a central defender but it’s yet to be seen where the Hammers would be looking to use him should a deal be agreed.

Terreur goes on to say that the Belgian side are not looking to sell this month, but the asking price for the player is believed to be set at £20 million.

The player is believed to be aware of interest in his services and is ready to move abroad in the next stage of his career.
