West Ham insistent on signing Leander Dendoncker

It appears as if West Ham have settled on their preferred midfield target this month.

After reports emerged yesterday that the Hammers had made an enquiry to sign Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht, Belgium’s DH says West Ham are insistent on pushing through a deal to sign the Belgium international this month.

Adding a defensive midfielder has been a top priority for both David Moyes and Slaven Bilic before him and Dendoncker, who has been linked with Manchester United, seems to tick every box.

It’s believed that it would take a bid in excess of €20m to convince Anderlecht to sell this month, although they are determined to hold off until the summer before cashing in on their star midfielder.

Moyes is eager to bring in Dendoncker in this month to solve his midfield issues and now his agent is freed up after finalising Kevin Mirrallas’ return to Olympiakos from Everton, there could be developments on this front in the near future.
