West Ham failed in Ancelotti approach

West Ham failed in an attempt to make Carlo Ancelotti their new manager, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The report claims that West Ham tried to appoint Ancelotti, with the Italian rejecting their advances.

The Hammers are currently 18th in the Premier League table after 11 games, with Bilic having won only two matches in the league.

The report also claims that David Moyes has signed a deal until the end of the season with West Ham and will become their new manager.

After the club failed to sign Ancelotti, they have moved swiftly onto Moyes, who will take charge until the end of the season.

Moyes will look to keep West Ham in the division before the club make a long-term decision on their next manager next summer.

The Scotsman has been out of a job since leaving Sunderland earlier this year.
