West Ham to rival Liverpool for Lukasz Teodorczyk

West Ham to rival Liverpool for Lukasz Teodorczyk

West Ham are believed to be ready to step up their interest in Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk when the January transfer window opens, according to Tuttosport as noted by talkSPORT.

The Hammers were linked during the summer transfer window but Teodorczyk completed a permanent move to Anderlecht following an impressive loan spell from Dynamo Moscow last season, netting 27 goals in total.

Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the striker in recent times but it’s hard to envisage him unseating Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge as the Reds’ top striking options.

While Javier Hernandez has hit the ground running with three goals in seven games this season, Andy Carroll has failed to find the net in his four games while Diafra Sakho, who is out of favour and becomes a free agent next summer, netted his first Premier League goal in the win over Swansea last time out.
