West Ham have made a habit of poaching some of the best young talent on the market for their academy in the last couple of years and it appears they’re plotting another swoop for a talented teenager.
The Hammers have joined fellow Premier League clubs Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool in the race to sign highly rated MK Dons striker Dylan Asonganyi, with all four clubs keeping tabs on his progress.
Asonganyi is just 16 years old but the striker has netted nine goals in just seven games for the Dons’ u18 side already this season which has put him on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs, say the Mirror.
MK Dons are hoping to keep ahold of the prolific teenager who turns 17 in December and then eligible for professional terms.
Asonganyi is already an England youth international but MK Dons first team staff are aware of his progress and may promote him to the first team in the near future.
