West Ham appear to have received a boost in their efforts to sign Balde Keita from Lazio.

Premier League rivals Tottenham, who were said to be keen on the impressive 22-year-old attacker, have now cooled their interest in him, according to Gary Jacob of the Times.
Keita has been heavily linked with a summer move away from Lazio this summer with his contract expiring at the end of the season and there being no progress in regards to him signing a new deal.

The Hammers have offered £29.5m for the versatile forward but the player isn’t terribly keen on the idea of joining West Ham and would much prefer to join Juventus.
However, Lazio have ruled out the idea of sending their best player to a direct Serie A rival. Inter Milan have also been linked with Keita but again a deal with a league rival is unlikely.
Slaven Bilic has his eye set on a big money defensive midfielder this summer but news of Tottenham ending their interest in Keita could tempt him to try and seal this deal.
