West Ham have second bid rejected for Arnautovic

West Ham are desperate to add another couple of forwards to the squad this summer and are in pursuit of Stoke winger Marko Arnautovic.

It was reported that the Hammers had an offer of £15m turned down earlier this summer for the Austrian and it was likely that they would submit a second offer, which they have done.

John Percy of the Telegraph claims that Stoe have rejected a second bid from West Ham for Arnautovic, believed to be just below £20m.

The player himself handed in a transfer request earlier this month to force through a summer transfer but it’s clear that Stoke are reluctant to sell.

If this rejected bid is any indication, the Hammers would likely have to break their £20.5m transfer record set last summer when they brought in Andre Ayew from Swansea.
