West Ham have emerged as a suitor of Burnley striker Andre Gray, with the player currently at loggerheads with his current employers over a possible contract extension.
According to a report from Laurie Whitwell of The Mail, West Ham are keeping an eye on Gray’s situation as he is reportedly asking for £70,000, which is almost treble what he is currently being paid.

The 26-year-old was linked with Everton and Tottenham in the recent past but these two clubs seem to have cooled their interest, so West Ham could have a free pass at him if he can’t agree new terms with Burnley.
Gary is about to enter the final year of his contract so the Hammers could have the chance to get him at a knock-down rate as Burnley will not want him to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
Gary scored ten goals in all competitions last season and would bring some much needed pace to West Ham’s attack if he did join the club.
