Chris Smalling is rumoured to be on the way out of Old Trafford, with West Ham, West Brom and Everton all keeping tabs on the defender, according to The Telegraph.
With Manchester United closing in on the signing of Swede Victor Lindelof from Benfica, Smalling could be heading out of United for as little as £15 million.
Slaven Bilic is rumoured to be very keen on the English international and may launch a bid in the coming weeks.
Jose Mourinho hasn’t been convinced by Smalling as he looks to mount a serious challenge in domestic and European competitions this season, and is willing to re shape his squad to do so.
Smalling was voted Players’ Player of the Year at the end of the 2015/16 season, but suffered a broken toe during the previous campaign and couldn’t cement his place in Mourinho’s starting eleven.
West Ham signed Jose Fonte in January but he failed to live up to expectation and it makes sense for them to be linked with another option.
