The Danish defender spent two seasons with the Bundesliga outfit, playing regular domestic and Champions League football, and is now considered as one of the best up and coming defenders in Europe.

Gladbach endured a slightly disappointing season, where they finished ninth in the Bundesliga but they’ll be hoping to challenge for the European places next campaign.
