According to Sport Bild, as quoted by GGFN, the Hammers are amongst a host of teams looking to sign Werder Bremen forward Max Kruse.

The Bundesliga side will sanction his sale if they receive an offer in the region of €12m this summer.

West Ham aren’t alone in their interest as Southampton, Everton, West Brom and Stoke are all in the race to secure his signature.

Kruse netted 15 goals in just 23 appearances during an injury-hit 2016/17 campaign with Bremen and the 29-year-old is said to be excited at the prospect of playing in the Premier League.

If West Ham fail to land either Kelechi Iheanacho or Michy Batshuayi they could do a lot worse than bringing in Kruse.
