West Ham are ready to challenge Tottenham and Manchester United for the signature of Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
The Daily Star report that West Ham are willing to meet the player’s £140,000 a week wage demands as he edges closer to a move away from Goodison Park this summer.
Barkley’s future has been up in the air all season and Ronald Koeman has ordered the player to make up his mind on his future or expect to be sold this summer.

The England international has been earmarked as a standout signing for the Hammers this summer, who are looking to build upon a disappointing season at the London stadium.
Barkley is thought to prefer the idea of moving to Tottenham, with one eye on his international career, whilst he is also good friends with Dele Alli the report states.
The midfielder has scored six goals in all competitions this season and has also registered six assists for Everton.
