Sullivan says he’s not interested in selling West Ham

Many fans have spoken out about the job David Sullivan and David Gold have done at West Ham in recent years and how outspoken they are regarding the team and the manager, and they aren’t happy about it.

Reports suggest that the co-owners were looking to sell a stake in the club in order to raise funds and help take the club to the next level, but Sullivan, through the Independent, claims those reports are wide of the mark.

“It is no secret that both David Gold and I see our long-term futures as custodians of West Ham United,” he said.

“We have never once viewed West Ham United as a short-term project and plan to be here for many, many years, bringing further progress to the club on and off the pitch, and success to our loyal supporters.

“It disappoints me to see an article published that is so utterly false.”

Gold and Sullivan have always threatened major investment but thus far we are waiting to reap the rewards as the club sit in the bottom half of the table.
