West Ham have joined Everton in the race to sign Dynamo Kiev defender Domagoj Vida, according to a report from Darren Lewis in the Mirror.
The Croatian international is about to enter the final year of his contract with the Ukrainian side and as such, it looks like he will be allowed to leave in the summer.
Stoke and Sunderland are also reportedly tracking the 27-year-old but with the Black Cats seemingly set to be relegated, it looks like it will be a three-horse race for his signature between the Hammers, the Potters and the Toffees.
West Ham are in the market for a centre back a to play in rotation with Winston Reid and Jose Fonte, whilst Everton are likely to let Phil Jagielka leave in the summer and are looking for a replacement.
Vida has been with Kiev for four seasons, in which he’s played over 100 games but it looks like he’s ready to leave for a new challenge.
