West Ham have reportedly identified Sampdoria star Luis Muriel as a possible summer transfer target and have added him to their list of potential new signings, according to a report from Darren Lewis of The Mirror.
The 25-year-old has been in good form this season and has 10 goals and nine assists in 28 Serie A games this campaign.
After a massive swing and miss on Simone Zaza, Slaven Bilic is still looking to bring in a quality striker and it looks like he has his eyes set on the Colombian star.
Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge and Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi are also said to be on West Ham’s list of possible targets as they search desperately to find a striker who can score regularly and also actually stay on the pitch.
Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho simply cannot be relied upon anymore due to their constant unjust issues so a move for Muriel would be welcomed by most Hammers fans.
