Hammers defender set for new deal

West Ham United defender, Winston Reid is reportedly set to sign a new deal at the London Stadium, according to the Mirror.

Reid, despite signing a new deal back in 2015, will put pen to paper on an improved deal believed to be in the region of £70,000-a-week.

The 28-year-old has helped the club the Hammers climb up to 11th in the Premier League after initially struggling earlier in the season.

The new deal will see him earn a similar wage much closer to January arrival Jose Fonte, along with a number of fellow West Ham stars.

Michail Antonio is also in line for a new deal at the club after the pair have put in a string of impressive performances for the Hammers this season.

The former Nottingham Forest man is the club’s top goalscorer in the Premier League this season, with nine goals and a new deal is likely to reflect his performances this season.
