West Ham are interested in signing a striker in the summer and have identified a talented target.
According to the Mirror, Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham have all entered the race to sign the highly-rated 19-year-old striker in the summer transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers made a £1m offer to sign the versatile forward for Celtic in the January transfer window that was rejected by the Belgian club who are now reportedly willing to do business at £6m, say the Daily Record.
Onyekuru has gone on record and stated that he will be leaving Eupen in the summer and that he has an agreement with the club which allows him to do so.
“I still have to talk to my representatives and we will make a decision this summer. I’m going to leave this summer. I have an agreement with the Eupen club.
“I returned to play for them and 100 per cent I will be free to leave in the summer. I have no problem with the club. I have done everything to help keep the club in the top division and that goal is achieved.
“What happened in January had nothing to do with the team. It was between me and the management.”
Able to play as a central striker or on the wing, Onyekuru has netted 12 goals in 26 games this season and has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.
