West Ham are eyeing a move for Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta, according to a report from Neil Moxley of The Mirror.
The Argentinian international is set to become a free agent at the end of the season and as of yet, he’s yet to be offered a new contract at City as Pep Guardiola looks to inject more youth into his squad as he starts to phase out some of the older players.
Zabaleta has just turned 32-years-old but still looks like he has a few good years ahead of him and Slaven Bilic seems keen to add some quality and experienced full-backs to his squad in the summer.
Bilic has also reportedly declared an interest in signing Man City’s other right-back Bacary Sagna so it remains to be seen if he’d be interested in making moves for both free agent defenders is City decide to allow them both to leave at the end of the season.
