Roberto Mancini reportedly in line to replace Slaven Bilic at West Ham

Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is ready to take over at West Ham United if the owners of the club decide to move on from Slaven Bilic, according to Darren Lewis of The Mirror.

The Italian is apparently keen on a return to the Premier League and with West Ham set to review Bilic’s position in the summer, he’s reportedly in the frame to take over if the Croatian is fired.

Bilic will have just one year left on his contract at the end of the season so it won’t be too expensive to sack him if that’s the choice the owners make and the disappointment of the current campaign could lead to them deciding to do just that.

David Sullivan and David Gold are of the mindset that they like to give their managers time to succeed but with a world-class manager apparently interested in the job, time will tell if they decide to make a change.
