West Ham line up summer move for Joe Hart

West Ham are interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart in the summer, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

The England number one is currently on loan at Serie A side Torino, a club he joined when it became clear that Pep Guardiola didn’t want him as City’s first choice goalkeeper.

Guardiola apparently wanted a keeper who was better with his feet than Hart, which resulted in him making a move to sign Claudio Bravo.

Bravo has hardly lit the world on fire in his short City career but Guardiola is expected to stick with him and let Hart leave.

Slaven Bilic has, at times, used both Adrian and Darren Randolph as his first-choice goalkeeper but it appears that he’d like an upgrade and Hart certainly fits the bill.

There will likely be competition from other clubs for the 29-year-old so Bilic will need to convince him that West Ham is the place for him to resurrect his Premier League career.
