West Ham tried and failed to sign Michy Batshuayi from Marseille in the summer but that hasn’t stopped them from trying to secure him on loan from his new employers, Chelsea.
According to a report this morning from the Evening Standard, French giants PSG have joined West Ham in the chase for Chelsea striker.
The Belgium international’s future has come under a lot of scrutiny in the last couple of months as a result of a lack of consistent game time at Chelsea under manager Antonio Conte – largely down to the impressive form of Diego Costa.
Batshuayi has featured in 16 games for Chelsea this season, scoring four goals but he’s yet to start a Premier League game and now PSG are looking to test their resolve with a loan bid.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea in the summer for a mammoth £33m but is now questioning whether that was the right move for him after being used sparingly by Antonio Conte. It’s widely believed that he is interested in a loan move, especially if Chelsea bring in another striker.
Swansea have also registered an interest in signing him on loan for the rest of the season.
