West Ham set to submit third bid for Scott Hogan

According to The Mirror West Ham will make a third offer for Brentford striker, Scott Hogan.

The Hammers have reportedly now prioritised the 24-year-old as he seems to be the striker they want. Hogan seems to be top of Slaven Bilic’s wishlist this January and the deal looks likely.

The Brentford striker is currently top of the scoring in the championship with an impressive 14 goals so far this season. Although West Ham have had two bids reported worth £8m and £10m respectively rejected, while Brentford have confirmed they will do business if the Hammers up the bid to £15m.

Now if the owners think that Hogan is going to be the solution to West Ham’s goal scoring problems, then he is definitely worth the extra £5m.

Earlier in the week we saw West Ham give up on Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe. The Black Cats reportedly will not sell unless the Englishman puts in a transfer request.

Hopefully, this is a deal that the Hammers can complete.
