West Ham have had a second bid for striker Scott Hogan rejected by Brentford, as per a report from Sky Sports.
The Hammers made a £10m bid earlier this week that was turned down by the Championship side, but there is no report of the value of the latest bid.
Having ended the disastrous loan deal of Simone Zaza, West Ham are clearly in the market for a new striker and have been linked with numerous players, such as Hogan and former Hammer Jermain Defoe.

However, as it stands, Slaven Bilic’s side have had no luck securing any of their targets and it looks like they’ve yet another stumbling block with the news of this latest rejected bid.
Hogan missed Brentford’s FA Cup win win over Eastleigh with a buttock injury, although the news of him missing the game did lead to specualtion that he could be about to leave the Bees.
The player has 18 months left on his current deal and is obviously interested in a move to the Premier League but in order to get him, West Ham will have to meet Brentford’s valuation, which is said to be £15m.
