Former Arsenal and England midfielder Ray Parlour has taken on reality TV star Amy Childs for a card game with a twist, 888casino‘s Electric Blackjack.
The shocking version of Blackjack sees one of the oldest and most popular casino games given a fresh twist as a participant receives a shock for any incorrect decision.
The duo sat down with 888casino‘s Ultimate Blackjack Strategy Guide by their side as well as having tutelage from blackjack maestro, John Scanlon, of Aspers Casino.
To ramp up the challenge, filmed before Childs’ October announcement that she was expecting her first baby, the players would receive a shock by Scanlon for any incorrect move.

Well, it seems the former The Only Way is Essex star knows her stuff when it comes to cards, whilst the ex-international may need to spend a bit more time revising with the guide.
Despite receiving more than his fair share of shocks, the former Gooner admitted that he learned a lot:
“I know from my playing days that it can be tempting to make quick and rash decisions whilst under pressure,” said Parlour.
“But now I have a better understanding of the blackjack plays and know when to go for another hit. That electric shock hurt more than a Martin Keown tackle though.”
