West Ham have entered the race to sign Brentford forward Scott Hogan in January, according to the Mirror.
Championship side Brentford have placed a £15m price tag on the forward in recent days, which could put the Hammers off.
Hogan had recently been linked with an £8m move to Norwich or Reading but that is thought to be almost half of Brentford’s desired fee, with West Ham now looking to swoop in.
The report claims that Brentford have already rejected one bid that was well below their valuation.

The 24-year-old is seeking a move to the Premier League and is not keen on a sideways move.
West Ham have struggled for goals from their forward line this season, with Simone Zaza seen as a total flop.
Scott Hogan, however, has been in sensational form for Brentford all season. The striker has scored 13 Championship goals already this campaign.
West Brom, Norwich City and Reading are also thought to be keen on the prolific centre-forward.
