Coventry City show interest in Marcus Browne

According to The Coventry Telegraph, Coventry City are interested in signing Marcus Browne on a short-term loan deal in January.

The youngster who turned 19 yesterday was watched by Coventry City scouts in the Hammers youth game against Wolves. West Ham won the game 4-0 and Marcus Browne played a big role in the game, himself earning the penalty that opened the scoring.

Coventry are reportedly looking for a replacement for Chris McCann who is heading to America in January.

Browne hasn’t featured much under Slaven Bilic and it seems as though the club want to send him out to get some experience.

West Ham have a similar deal in place with Coventry regarding Lewis Page. He joined Coventry in August on a short loan deal, so this type of deal would be possible.

Marcus Browne would provide Coventry with a more attacking mindset and would for sure be a help in providing Marvin Sordell with goal scoring chances.
