West Ham spent the majority of their summer chasing big money strikers, none of whom made the move to East London.
One of those players were Michy Batshuayi, and despite having a €39m bid accepted by Marseille for the Belgian international striker, he ended up joining Chelsea.
Despite being used in a bit-part role this season, Chelsea have informed West Ham that Batshuayi will not be made available for loan when the transfer window opens next month, according to the Daily Mail.
Slaven Bilic was hoping to use his friendship with Chelsea manager Antonio in his favour and bring Batshuayi in on loan until the end of the season to help West Ham battle their way out of the relegation dogfight.

Due to the impressive form of Diego Costa, the 23-year-old has yet to make a Premier League start for the Blues this term but has made 10 substitute appearances, scoring once.
West Ham have struggled for goals this season, especially from their strikers with Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll the only strikers to score a Premier League goal for the Hammers this season but the Senegalese international has been ruled out until the New Year with a hamstring injury and we are all aware of Carroll’s plagued injury history.
With both Jonathan Calleri and Simone Zaza returning to their parent clubs in January, recruiting a new striker is imperative for West Ham but unfortunately for them, it doesn’t look like it’ll be Michy Batshuayi.
