West Ham are apparently interested in taking Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini on loan until the end of the season, according to a report from Ken Dyer of the Evening Standard.
West Ham are currently struggling at both ends of the field and Slaven Bilic apparently believes that Fellaini could offer assistance in both defence and attack.
Jose Mourinho hasn’t been selecting the Belgian international as of late and the fact that he gave away a penalty just minutes after coming off the bench against his former club Everton will have hardly have endeared him to his new manager.
At age 29, Fellaini will want to be playing regular football rather than sitting on the bench and a loan move away from Old Trafford would make sense for him.
Bilic apparently thinks that West Ham lack a bit of a physical presence and Fellaini would certainly bring that to his side.
West Ham already have three players on loan so there is room for one more in the squad.
