West Ham eye January move for Daniel Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge is prepared to leave Liverpool and continue his career elsewhere with West Ham and Stoke both interested in signing him, according to the Mirror.

In recent times, Sturridge has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp because he feels the striker isn’t necessarily the best fit for his system.

Both West Ham and Stoke are amongst interested parties and are willing to match his £120k-a-week wages to seal the move. Liverpool are demanding around £28m for the striker.

Over the years, Sturridge has proven he is a natural and consistent goalscorer in the Premier League but questions remain over his fitness and whether his body can cope with a 38-game season.

Nevertheless, West Ham are in desperate need for a striker and should Sturridge be available need to go an make a move to sign him.
