Simone Zaza’s father and agent has shed light on a possible move to Napoli when the January transfer window opens up.
The Italian forward signed for West Ham on a season-long loan with an obligatory purchase option of £20m if he made 14 or more appearances for the club.
Having failed to score in nine appearances, the 25-year-old has lost his place in the side and has prompted the club to try and look for ways they can get out of the deal.
A method which has been reported lately is the Hammers buying Zaza from Juventus and then immediately selling him to Napoli and Simone’s father, Antonio, has said that if Napoli came with an offer then they’d listen.

“Napoli is Napoli. If they called, I would listen,” Antonio Zaza told Corriere dello Sport (h/t Football Italia). “The contract is dependent on the games that Simone plays.
“He must accumulate 14 appearances in order for the deal to become permanent, and up to now he has played nine.
“So far he has not been contacted by any club, but if someone seeks me out, of course I would listen. I am available to all, but especially to Napoli.”
As time draws on, you find it hard to envisage a situation where Simone Zaza is a West Ham player next season.
