Sierra A side Fiorentina are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Pedro Obiang from West Ham.
The Italian side are apparently in the process of putting together a list of potential targets and it appears that the 24-year-old Hammer is one of the names they are considering.
Not too long ago it looked like the Spanish U21 international could have been on his way out of the club due to a lack of playing time but he’s recently earned a recall to the side and has played very well, despite the struggles of the team as a collective.
Whilst it’s a positive that other clubs are recognising the talent levels of West Ham’s players, there seems to be very little chance of anyone leaving in January, especially those who Slaven Bilic would class as regulars in his side.
Therefore, even though Fiorentina seemingly want to sign Obiang, it’s unlikely that they’ll get their wish.
