West Ham boss Slaven Bilic will hold talks with Dimitri Payet after his recent quotes to a French TV channel suggested that he might be looking to make a move in the near future.

Payet said:

Leave in January? I’m asking other questions right now, but I haven’t closed the door to anything. “Go to Paris Saint-Germain or Marseille? For now, they have not come to me, so I do not ask myself. Until now, I always chose my clubs depending on the sports project. I work like that. Until I can play at a level like this, it will be the case.

As reported by Darren Lewis of The Mirror, the Hammers are concerned that their star man might be getting restless after the disappointing start to the season so Bilic plans to sit down with him and reaffirm that the club want him to stay and discuss how things could be turned around.

Shaun Botterill/Getty Images Sport Payet has been a star for club and country in the last year or so and West Ham knew that there’d be interested in other parties so locked him down with a five and a half year contract back in January, giving him a huge pay rise in the process.

However, after a disappointing start to the season, Payet’s comments seem to suggest that he might be considering his future so Bilic looks like he wants to nip any potential issues in the bud.
