Police officers will be on duty inside the London Stadium for the first time when West Ham host Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday, according to a report from Sky Sports.
West Ham’s first few months at the Stadium have seen segregation issues crop up and there have been clashes between fans.
The Police have only been entering the stadium if any criminal activities have been reported.

There have been concerns as to how the police officers would communicate with each other inside the stadium as their was not effective communication system in place but a temporary system, which relies on a police Land Rover parked next to the stadium, has been tested successfully and is expected to be used.
Chelsea were upset when they received 500 fewer tickets than there allowed allocation from West Ham for the game because of infrastructure issues, one of which is thought to be policing.
This is the first high risk night game that will be played at the stadium.
