At his press conference ahead of this weekend’s game against Middlesborough, Slaven Bilic was asked about the reports that appeared in the Italian media which suggested that West Ham were considering sacking the Croatian and bringing in former Inter Milan and Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.
Bilic, whose side have just three points from six league games, dismissed the story and said that it doesn’t worry him at all and that all of his focus and efforts have been on getting his side ready for the clash with Boro on Saturday afternoon.
He said:
I am not worried about [Mancini]. I am delighted to be here and have a job. I am concentrated on training and preparing the game, analysing the opponent and working with the players, putting the best possible team out and put my whole energy into my team.

After five defeats from six league games and having been knocked out of the Europa League by Astra Giurgiu, Bilic has found himself under pressure for the first time at West Ham after he led them so well last season.
A lot can change in football and a win over Aitor Karanka’s side would take West Ham out of the bottom three and hopefully, the Hammers can kick-start their season.
