Mark Noble suffered a gash on his hand against Watford which required eight stitches, Stijn Vandenbroucke notes, but after some extended rest he will be available for selection Saturday,
The same can’t be said for Andy Carroll it’s hinted at. Vandenbroucke states that Carroll, despite making good progress this week following an knee injured suffered a month ago against Astra Giurgiu in the Europa League, still requires some time before returning to action.

Diafra Sakho also remains out of contention. Still building up his fitness after missing all of pre-season, Sakho is preparing to step up his level of activity in training in a bid to get him match-ready in the near future.
West Ham’s two players who are in the midst of long-term injury lay-offs, Aaron Cresswell and Andre Ayew, are both progressing well and resumed running this week following knee and thigh injuries respectively. Neither are expected to return to the field until mid-November.
Finally, Vandenbroucke notes that Alvaro Arbeloa could be set for a debut against Accrington Stanley next week after another strong week of training.
