West Ham are looking into the possibility of signing Simone Zaza from Juventus again this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Inside Futbol).
The Hammers opened talks with Juventus earlier this summer about signing the Italian international but failed to agree a fee for his services.
Since then, Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have led the chase to sign the former Sassuolo striker this summer but they as well have yet to get a deal over the line.
While a deal with Wolfsburg is close, the Hammers are preparing an eleventh hour move for the striker.

Zaza featured for Juventus in their friendly against West Ham earlier this month and came off the bench to score the winner in a 3-2 with for the visitors which incidentally may not be the last time he scores at the London Stadium.
West Ham have seen Andre Ayew be sidelined for up to four months with a thigh injury and have also missed out on Christian Benteke and Loic Remy who both seem set to join Crystal Palace, meaning Zaza has again became a possible target.
