West Ham target Islam Slimani is focussed on a move to the Premier League this summer, according to A Bola (h/t Sport Witness).
Slimani recently handed in a transfer request in the hope of securing a move to the Premier League, but nothing appears imminent for the Algerian hitman. The forward handed in the request after Swansea had a £17m bid rejected by Sporting.
The 28-year-old has also been linked with West Brom and Arsenal this summer after he bagged 31 goals in 46 games for the Portuguese side last term.
West Brom saw a €20m bid turned down for Slimani earlier this summer, according to Portuguese source Record, and have since upped their offer to €25m and they are waiting on a response from the Liga NOS side.

Sporting are holding out for €30m to sell Slimani this summer, a fee which West Brom and every other interested club have been unwilling to meet thus far, but the player himself could force a move.
A Bola states that Slimani’s ‘head is in England’ as he longs for a move to the Premier League, which has been discussed with over 16 Premier League clubs in the last year.
