West Ham are preparing another bid to sign Palermo left-back Achraf Lazaar this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Hammers are without a senior recognised left-back following Aaron Cresswell’s injury suffered in pre-season which will sideline him for up to four months.
In the meantime, Sam Byram has filled in at left-back during both of West Ham’s Europa League ties against NK Domzale in the last week but he won’t be a permanent stand in.

Inter Milan’s Davide Santon was set to join on a season-long loan with a view to buy next summer for £5m but the former Newcastle defender failed a medical earlier this week and West Ham pulled the plug on a deal.
Now West Ham are considering going back in for the 24-year-old Lazaar, who has handed in a transfer request to the Serie A club to force a move away.
The Moroccan defender is also wanted by Roma and made 31 appearances for Palermo last season, scoring once.
West Ham made a €3m bid for Lazaar earlier this summer which was rejected but are now prepared to go in with a second offer in order to sign the defender before the start of the Premier League season.
