Speaking at today’s pre-match press conference ahead of West Ham’s Europa League third qualification round second leg against NK Domzale, Slaven Bilic has confirmed two key bits of news.
Firstly, attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini will be sidelined for at least the next month with a knee injury.
Lanzini suffered the injury whilst with the Argentina squad in a pre-Olympics warm-up game against Colombia which has forced him to withdraw from the squad for this month’s Games.

Bilic confirms that while the injury is not serious, Lanzini will miss the next four or five weeks while he recovers.
In addition, Bilic confirms that Diafra Sakho’s future will be decided in the next few days, or possibly even today.

The striker has been subject to interest from West Brom of late, who have had a £16m bid accepted by the Hammers and have agreed personal terms with the Senegal international.
Sakho is expected to undergo a medical soon with the transfer set to go through anytime between now and the weekend.
