West Ham target Jese Rodriguez agrees €25m move to PSG

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a €25million fee with Real Madrid for the signing of Jese Rodriguez, according to French publication L’Equipe.

The Spaniard had been linked with a move to East London recently, but the 23-year-old is now poised to seal a deal with the capital city club meaning West Ham will miss out on a forward target once more.

Jese scored five goals in 28 La Liga games during the 2015/16 season and his move to PSG leaves supporters frustrated at the lack of transfer activity in the attacking department.

Although he is yet to be capped by the Spanish national team, only time will tell if West Ham will regret not getting him to sign on the dotted line.

The Irons were said to have offered around €17million within the last couple of days and a loan deal was also previously considered, but the lure of Champions League football would appear to have swayed the winger’s thinking.
