Fiorentina striker Mario Gomez has requested that he makes the final decision over his future amid interest from West Ham, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, quoted by Football Italia, the Germany international striker wants to make the final decision over his next move irrespective of the wishes of his employers.
Despite a stunning season on loan with Besiktas where he scored 27 goals across all competitions, Gomez rejected a return to the club on a permanent basis earlier this month due to the civil unrest in the Turkey.

The 31-year-old doesn’t feature in Fiorentina’s plans going forward and he will leave the club this summer, and Gomez wants to decide on his next destination.
It’s understood that Gomez has asked the Florence club’s permission to miss their upcoming pre-season training camp in Austria so he can complete a move.
West Ham and Wolfsburg are both heavily interested in Gomez, while Borussia Dortmund have reportedly offered €7m to sign the former Bayern Munich striker this summer.
