West Ham haven’t been quiet in the summer transfer window, with no fewer than six new faces in the squad for the upcoming season.
First through the door was Antonio Martinez, a promising teenage striker from Valencia who has netted over 100 goals in two years for their youth side. The fee was reported at £500,000 which could rise to £2.4m if clause are met.
Next was Domingos Quina, another promising young player brought in from Chelsea. A Portuguese U17 international, Quina is a tricky attacker who will hopefully settle in well.
Slaven Bilic managed to persuade two Champions League calibre players in Havard Nordtveit and Sofiane Feghouli to join on free transfers from Borussia Monchengladbach and Valencia respectively, two great additions.
His trusted friend and winger Gokhan Tore was next through the door on a season-long loan from Besiktas while Ashley Fletcher turned down a new deal at Manchester United to move to East London.
All six players have been included in West Ham’s Europa League squad for the matches against NK Domzale, with the first leg on Thursday, and have all been given new squad numbers!
Here’s what each player will be wearing this coming season:
