The West Ham owners have asked for calm and patience as every top striker in Europe continues to reject their advances.
Understandably so. The top players wants to play in the Champions League and admittedly, it’s going to be hard to persuade them to seemingly step down a level and join us.
Carlos Bacca is the latest to do so and I suspect he won’t be the last but, our owners are nothing if not persistent and defiant and they have our full backing that they’ll find a great deal and get it done to make our club stronger.
Perhaps what they should start doing is looking at home rather than abroad. There are plenty of great signings to be had from our Premier League rivals.
We’ve picked out a (realistic) player from each Premier League club West Ham should consider signing. As much as we’d like Sergio Aguero or Riyad Mahrez, we’ve got no chance.
These players would be great additions to the squad.
