The fixtures for the new Premier League season were released on the 15th June and most players are now back in pre-season training which means it’s about the time when the first televised games are released. This season there will be a record number of games shown on TV, with Sky Sports showing 126 and BT Sport showing 42. This season will also see Friday Night Football for the first time.
West Ham will have no less than 4 games on TV in August and September, including their opening game against Chelsea. The following week, the first game at the Olympic Stadium against Bournemouth will be shown – meaning fans not able to get the sought after tickets for the game will still be able to watch – and the week after the away fixture versus Manchester City will be on Sky Sports, which West Ham brilliantly won 2-1 last season. An exciting opening two months of Premier League football will be capped off with a game on Sky Sports against Southampton on September 26th.
