West Ham defender James Tomkins has today completed his £10m move to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.
Jack Sullivan took to twitter to confirm the news.
Twitter: Tomkins has left the club, I personally wish him all the best and am sure he will do a good job at @CPFC ! (@jsullivanwhu)
Crystal Palace have now also officially announced Tomkins’ arrival.

Tomkins wanted to play more regularly which he couldn’t do at West Ham with Winston Reid and Angelo Ogbonna at the back, but the club wish him well for the rest of his career.
Twitter: He wanted first team football and we could not guarantee this! Hopefully we will see more of Burke and Oxford in the upcoming season! #COYI (@jsullivanwhu)
This likely means that promising young defenders Reece Burke and Reece Oxford will get more game time next season as they continue their first-team breakthrough.
The Basildon boy joined West Ham when he was seven years old and worked his way up to the first-team.
The 27-year-old made his debut in March 2008 and went on to make 243 appearances for the club, scoring 11 times.
All of us here at Read West Ha would like to wish James Tomkins all the best for the rest of his career! Thanks for the memories!
