Mateo Kovacic offered to West Ham

According to the Mail, West Ham and Everton have been offered the chance to sign Real Madrid outcast Mateo Kovacic.

Kovacic, who was only signed last summer by Rafa Benitez, has struggled for game time in Spain, and believes a move away from the club may kickstart his career again. He also believes that a move to the Premier League will allow him to flourish as a player.

Madrid are asking for £30 million for the midfielder, who plays mostly in a box to box role. However, they are also interested in letting the Croatian go out on loan.

He has recently returned from representing his country at Euro 2016, where Croatia reached the round of sixteen before losing out late to Portugal.

He has also been linked with a return to Italy with Juventus. Before moving to Madrid, Kovacic had a successful spell at Inter, where he was considered one of their key players.
