West Ham lose ground to PSG in race for two strikers

The footballing gods will not allow West Ham to sign a striker it seems.

Michy Batshuayi has agreed to join Chelsea; Wolfsburg have tabled a €28million bid for Simone Zaza and now PSG are in talks regarding two of West Ham’s striker targets, Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon and Vincent Janssen of AZ Alkmaar.

L’Equipe, as quoted by GFFN, say PSG are locked in talks with both Lyon and AZ. Negotiations are thought to be going well, but the Ligue 1 champions are yet to submit a formal offer for either striker. Le Parisien, also quoted by GFFN, believe the next 24 hours could be crucial to PSG’s striker search.

Chelsea reaching an agreement for Batshuayi could see Spurs step up their efforts to sign Janssen, forcing PSG to make their move too.

The striker search continues. Up next, Christian Benteke. Who’s going to beat us to this signing?
