West Ham chairman David Sullivan has admitted that he is aiming for the Premier League title with West Ham next season.
Sullivan has said that West Ham should take inspiration from Leicester, who defied the odds last season – all 5000/1 of them – to be crowned as the Premier League champions.
Speaking to The Evening Standard, Sullivan said this:
We all saw what Leicester did last season and we start the campaign with the aim of winning the Premier League.
Anyone who says it can’t be done only has to look at what Leicester achieved and it can be done.

It is unlikely but that has to be our aim, along with the FA Cup and Capital One Cup.
We have three trophies and we want to win all of them. We are also in Europe and we want to do well in that as well.
The Hammers are moving into the Olympic Stadium this summer and fans are hoping for a season to remember in their first campaign with their new stadium. There have already been a number of high profile signings linked with moves to the club, with Sofiane Feghouli already having signed as well.
We are all excited about our big move into the new Stadium. The facilities will be so much better and I hope the atmosphere will be just as good there.
West Ham are looking to splash the cash this summer and Sullivan has admitted that he is on the lookout for a big name striker to score 20+ goals next season, in order to propel West Ham to a possible Premier League title.
Once we sign a top striker I will feel a lot better and that is the main position we need.
Our top goalscorer last season scored 12 goals and if someone had scored 20 we would have been in a different position.
