As quoted by the South Wales Post, Enner Valencia’s agent has brandished the links with his client to Swansea as ‘absolute nonsense’.
Swansea were thought to be keen on a move for Valencia this summer, but the striker’s agent has now dampened those links fairly quickly.
His agent said this to Claret & Hugh when talking about the deal:
It`s absolute nonsense. Total rubbish. There`s nothing in that at all. Totally silly season stuff.
Everybody is expecting this, that and the other to happen but it might be as well to remember that it`s still only June.
What I can say it that there`s nothing from inside England but there is from Europe and further afield. It`s early days at this point but yes there is definitely interest in the player.

The Welsh side are in need of a striker this summer, with Bafe Gomis currently the only senior striker in their squad heading into next season. Alberto Paloschi left to join Atalanta last week and Eder has left the club after his loan, which has left them bare in the forward department.
It was thought that Valencia could be the man to move west and join the Swans, but that rumour has now been quashed by the player’s agent.
Valencia has played 56 games for West Ham in his two seasons at the club so far, scoring just ten goals in the process. This includes just eight Premier League goals in 47 games.
