West Ham and Leicester have been boosted in their efforts to sign Marseille defender Benjamin Mendy this summer after it’s been revealed he’s only looking for a move to the Premier League.
According to French source Le10Sport, the Hammers and the Foxes are both looking to sign Mendy this summer and are glad the fullback has made his intentions clear on a move to England.

It was reportedly earlier this month that Monaco were closing in on the signing of the 21-year-old from Marseille, but the Le10Sport, who quote Nabil Djellit, state that their offer wasn’t good enough.
AS Monaco should bid for Benjamin Mendy in the coming days. The offer of €4m is considered very poor.
Marseille are in a financial struggle and need to find upwards of £30m to balance their books before the end of the month. The potential sale of Mendy would be a solid contribution to doing just that, but the Ligue 1 side are hoping to offload Michy Batshuayi to cover the bulk of that fee.
According to L’Equipe journalist Mathieu Gregory, Mendy has made his intentions clear that he wants a move to the Premier League.

West Ham are definitely in the market for a fullback and Mendy could be a solid developmental prospect behind the incumbent left-back Aaron Cresswell.
